Xantic and Bizub Communications sign Agency Agreement Xantic, one of the world?s leading providers of satellite communications, has announced the signing of an agency agreement with Bizub Communications Inc., a privately owned company in New Jersey, USA, specialised in the sale of satellite communications systems, equipment and airtime services to commercial, government and non-profit organisations.
Under the terms of the agreement, Bizub will work together with Xantic to facilitate the further growth of its UN business in New York. While Xantic has always had a strong presence in certain European & African UN organisations such as UNHCR, the World Food Programme and UN Peacekeeping Operations, its scope in New York has been somewhat limited. The new cooperation with Bizub will enable Xantic to also work more closely together with the New York-based UN organisations.
The synergies between Xantic and Bizub are remarkably strong. They see an ultra-reliable mobile satcom provider, with a range of unique value added services such as an online firewall and a credit control tool for Regional BGAN, joining with Bizub?s outstanding technical knowledge, local presence and rich experience of dealing with the UN in New York.
?Bizub Communications is delighted with Xantic?s willingness to work closely together to combine our strengths,? commented the company?s President, Edward J. Bizub. ?As a result, we can improve the level and scope of services we provide to our UN customers.?
Gerbrand Schalkwijk, Director Sales Airtime at Xantic, was equally enthusiastic about the alliance. ?Integrating the satcom services of Xantic with the technical expertise of a company of the stature of Bizub Communications is an important step forward in expanding our business with the UN in New York.?
