Xantic and partners win four out of seven Inmarsat awards The annual awards ceremony at the Inmarsat partner conference in London was a triumph for Xantic and its partners. Xantic won both the Outstanding Inmarsat Fleet Performance 2004 and Outstanding Inmarsat Connect Performance 2004 awards, while Xantic partners Satlink (Spain) and AOS (USA) took home two other awards. The Outstanding Inmarsat Fleet Performance 2004 award was granted for Xantic?s successful Inmarsat A-to-Fleet campaign. This acknowledged the company?s achievement in signing up over 50% of all A-to-Fleet packages worldwide. It also recognised Xantic?s position as the largest Inmarsat Fleet provider, with a market share of over 37% in 2004.
The Regional BGAN Super Promotion for Xantic service providers was the recipient of the Outstanding Inmarsat Connect Performance 2004 award. The campaign has resulted in up to 50 additional new Regional BGAN activations per month since its start, the highest return on investment of any LESO promotion co-funded by the Inmarsat Connect Programme.
Xantic partner Satlink was honoured for the most productive ISP promotion co-funded by the Inmarsat Connect Programme, while AOS received an award for its contribution to the success of the Xantic Super Promotion.
The winning team
The awards were announced in the presence of over 250 Inmarsat partner representatives in London. Xantic was the only provider to receive more than one award, a performance which delighted CEO Pieter Eelkman Rooda. ?While it was great to be part of the winning team at the conference, it was the hard work of Xantic staff and our partners around the world that enabled us to win these awards. This is a clear sign that Xantic is on the right track.? The Hague, the Netherlands, 22 November 2004 Editor?s note:
