Who is Scotland's best striker of all time?

De Pedro leaves Rovers

by Peter ORourke -  created on 31 Jan 2005

Skysports.com can reveal Javier De Pedro has left Blackburn to join Perugia.

The Spanish winger has failed to establish himself at Ewood Park since arriving last summer from Real Sociedad.

De Pedro is well down the pecking order at Ewood Park and the club are willing to let him leave.

Perugia have signed the left-sided winger for an undisclosed fee.

The 31-year-old has signed a two-and-a-year deal at Perugia after agreeing terms and passing a medical.

Perugia are currently third in Serie B and will hope the arrival of De Pedro will help them win their place back in Italy's top-flight this season.
