Portsmouth have signed Slovenia international striker Alexsandar Rodic from Gorica, as previously reported by skysports.com.
The 25-year-old, who arrives in England with a lofty goal-scoring reputation, helped his side win the Slovenian championship last term.
The Bosnia-born ace made a scoring international debut against Slovakia and could play in their upcoming clash against Czech Republic.
Pompey chairman Milan Mandaric has praised the capture of the youngster and believes the striker can continue his goal-scoring exploits in The Premiership.
"We have signed a bright young striker who is very sharp inside the box," said Mandaric to the club's official website.
"He also has a goal-scoring prowess which has seen him score regularly at every level he has played.
"He is going to be an exciting asset for Portsmouth and we have every belief that he will carry on at Fratton Park where he has left off both domestically and internationally in Slovenia."
