The brand new Sky Alerts system is easy to download and delivers all the breaking news stories straight to your PC. It sits on your home or office desktop to make sure you're informed about the latest developments, even when you’re not online!
Sky Alerts can keep you bang up-to-date on all aspects of world sport, or if you prefer, you can select the top sports you want to receive - simply select from football, cricket, rugby league, rugby union, golf or our other sports category.

How to get Sky Sports News Alerts
Downloading Sky Alerts couldn't be simpler. All you have to do is click on one of the download links. Then, select "Run this program from its current location" if you use Windows 95/98 or if you use Windows 2000/NT/XP, save the file to your desktop, then open the program. It will take seconds on an ADSL or LAN connection or around 3 mins on a 56k modem.
Once you've downloaded the new application, just follow the simple instructions to continue setting the program up. You can then select which types of news alerts you wish to receive. But don't panic, if you change your mind about which alerts you would like to receive you can change it at any time.
If, for any reason you want to remove the Sky Alerts from your system all you have to do is right-click on the Sky icon at the bottom of your screen, select "Extras" and then "Uninstall".
