PRO-LIFE - The season from a player's perspective

by Graeme Bailey -  created on 12 Jul 2004

Over the forthcoming season, skysports.com will be taking an exclusive look into the world of a professional footballer.

Chester City's Richard Hope has agreed to sign with us and let us follow him through the next 12 months of his career.

Richard has just sealed a move to the Conference champions, after spending last season with York City - where he had a good campaign, despite The Minstermen being relegated.

The imposing central defender began his career with Blackburn Rovers alongside the likes of David Dunn, Damien Duff and James Beattie, before moving to Darlington and then Northampton Town.

Richard is now looking forward to his first season with Chester - one of the favourites to win League Two.

Every MONDAY you will be able to read what Richard's thoughts and feelings are about the season.
