1. How do I get a match ticket?

* With very rare exceptions, our Premier League home games sell out strictly to Season Ticket Holders and Members. Please click here to become a member.

* Ticket applications for Premier League Home Games are now being accepted six weeks prior to the game. Usually all games are oversubscribed and a postal ballot takes place to determine the successful applicants. However, in the unlikely event of tickets remaining, an announcement regarding sales will be made to the general public via the Ticket and Match Information line (0870 757 1968) and ManUtd.com approximately three weeks in advance of the game.

* There is also now a SMS alert service for UK mobile phone subscribers. Click here for more details including the phone number you need to call to register.

* Season Ticket Holders registered on the Home Cup Ticket Scheme should note that one of the terms and conditions of the Scheme require the registered holder to keep the club informed of any changes to their address, surname, telephone numbers or credit card. The club does not operate a waiting list for Season Tickets.

* The policy of Manchester United is not to issue duplicate books or vouchers. Supporters arriving at the stadium on a matchday without their book and appropriate voucher will not, under any circumstances, be admitted.

* Supporters should be mindful that access to the North Stand 2nd/3rd Tier and West/East Stand 2nd Tier involves a substantial amount of climbing. Persons having difficulty with climbing or suffering from vertigo are advised accordingly. The Family Stand has a strict no smoking policy.

* To see whereabouts in Old Trafford your seat is, please click here for a full stadium plan.

The club also operates a Park and Ride scheme on match days, allowing fans to park at the Ringway Airpark, Carrington before catching a bus into the ground. Please click here for details on this convenient service.

4. Can I email the players?

Unfortunately, none of the players have e-mail addresses at the Club. There is a general enquiries e-mail address you can write to if any of your questions are not covered in this section, however. If you have Internet Explorer 5.0 (40 bit), you may face problems accessing the Ticketing Application pages (https://secure.manutd.com/tickets/ticketsales.sps).  However, this problem is easily resolved by downloading a small patch from Microsoft's Web site. To see if you require this patch, you can check your version of Internet Explorer by going to Internet Explorer and clicking "Help" then "About".

Example

Version: 6.0.2800.1106
Cipher Strength: 128-bit

Should you have version 5 and a Cipher Strength of 40-bit, you should download the patch.

To download the patch, please click on the following link: http://www.microsoft.com/windows/ie/downloads/recommended/128bit/default.asp

The file is only 214k and should take no longer than 30 seconds to download over a 56k modem. Once on the site the file to be downloaded is located on the right-hand column entitled, "Download".  You should click the link that matches your Operating System.  Most users will be the second link down, entitled "Internet Explorer 5 for Windows 95, Windows 98 and Windows NT 4".  Upon clicking on this link you should choose "Open", which will automatically start the update process.

Once your version of Internet Explorer has been updated, you should then try to click on the following link: https://secure.manutd.com/tickets/ticketsales.sps.

Should you experience further difficulties, please e-mail tickets@manutd.co.uk with the details. Meanwhile, we advise you to make an immediate postal application for tickets to avoid missing the ballot.
