INFORMATION
In order to receive the Boldtype Book Review, we require your email address. Once we have your address, Boldtype will not sell, rent, or otherwise disclose it or any personal information to any third party.
ANTI-SPAM
Boldtype is part of Flavorpill Productions, an email publishing company which has never and will never engage in the practice of sending unsolicited emails, or SPAM. Boldtype is entirely permission-based, which means that every email on the list is there because it was specifically subscribed. It is possible for someone to subscribe another address, however upon subscription an auto-reply is immediately sent providing simple instructions on how to unsubscribe.
Boldtype does not engage in the practice of harvesting, buying, selling, or renting email addresses and will never intentionally send its newsletter to someone who has not specifically requested to receive it.
UNSUBSCRIBING
Users may always automatically opt-out of receiving Boldtype by using this form to UNSUBSCRIBE, which is clearly linked off all newsletters. Removal requests using the above link touch the database, automatically unsubscribing addresses address in real-time. Users experiencing any problems unsubscribing should send an email here
FORWARDING
In the case where Boldtype includes a "forward to a friend" function to forward emails to others, these recipients are emailed through Boldtype system, but their addresses are not be added to any distribution list.
LOG FILES
Boldtype uses IP addresses and email addresses to analyze trends, administer the site, track users' movements, and gather broad demographic information for aggregate use.
SHARING
Boldtype shares aggregated demographic profiles with our partners and sponsors. This is not linked to any personal information that can identify any individual person.
LINKS
Both the mailer and the website contain links to other sites. Please be aware that Boldtype is not responsible for the privacy practices of such other sites. This privacy statement applies solely to information directly collected by the Company.
SECURITY
Boldtype takes every precaution to protect users' information. All user-related information is restricted in our offices. Only employees who need the information to perform a specific job are granted access to personally identifiable information. Furthermore, all employees are kept up-to-date on our security and privacy practices.
