In-Store Television Advertising:
A State-of-the-Industry Survey & White Paper

In-store television (TV) is an emerging medium with the potential to create a unique shopping experience. Though advertisers recognize the potential of in-store TV, they consistently call for research to identify enablers of future growth and evaluate key success factors. The lack of research has become a barrier to growth and acceptance of the medium.

In late 2004, MVI conducted an extensive survey of CPG/FMCG advertisers, with half of the top 100 advertisers participating — 60% of whom are either testing or actively participating in a variety of in-store TV programs. "In-Store TV Advertising: A State-of-the-Industry Whitepaper" presents our research findings and key conclusions.
