Dan O?Connor, who founded MVI in 1988, is leading MVI?s Chief Customer Officer Network. The Network facilitates supplier group discussions that generate insight regarding the top global retailers and the markets in which they operate. The Network?s members are the senior customer development executives within the world?s leading consumer products manufacturers and suppliers. To join with Mr. O?Connor in further developing the Network, MVI is seeking a Client Community Relationship Manager. The Position. The Client Community Relationship Manager (Manager) will manage the Network?s client community to produce group meetings and lead client project work. In this role, the Manager will organize a series of meetings; and produce clear, well-structured and useful analysis in the context of multi-client research groups, on-site client training services and client-specific projects. In that regard, the Manager will develop a well-rounded understanding of the relevant retailers; will analyze and interpret data and information; will draw implications that have meaning for Network client companies; and will present "actionable" analysis in a variety of contexts. Position Requirements. The successful candidate will have: a graduate business degree at least 3 years of relevant business experience ? preferably with a retailer or supplier organization a high level of understanding of sales and customer development issues solid quantitative and qualitative analytical skills the ability to effectively interact with, and guide, experienced executives MVI offers its associates a stimulating working environment, a premium client base and the opportunity to play an important role in developing and delivering leading edge insight and analysis.
