This project plans to bring digital home networking capabilities to every new residential building in Songdo area.
Under the terms of the contract, Lucent Worldwide Services (LWS), a leading network integrator, will supply and install home networking systems such as residential gateways, security systems, switches, routers and electronic devices to help IUDC build "smart apartments."

LWS will also provide IUDC with a comprehensive offering that includes deployment, maintenance, and professional services.

We were able to use this knowledge to bring broadband technology directly into the homes and every day lives of the residents of these new buildings", said Eugene Yoo, managing director of the LWS Korea team. "This flagship contract will open up more business opportunities for Lucent in the growing Asian home networking market".
