If you're new to HighSpeed Internet-: If you do not have Telecom JetStream™ you can choose from the following plans: *After your monthly plan traffic allowance has been exceeded, a 'throttle on cap' will be applied which means that the speed of your service will be reduced to dial up speeds (a maximum of 64kbps). However you will not be charged for any additional usage. **You will be charged for your additional usage when you exceed your monthly plan traffic allowance. Other things you should know about TelstraClear HighSpeed Internet: - Once your TelstraClear HighSpeed Internet connection has been activated, you will need to change the authentication settings on your ADSL modem. We will send you instructions on how to do this.
- TelstraClear HighSpeed Internet plans include both access to the Internet AND ISP charges through paradise.net. The service will be available via clear.net in December 2004. If you choose to use any other ISP with your TelstraClear HighSpeed Internet service, for example by authenticating with another ISP through your ADSL modem, you will be charged at 20 cents per MB for any traffic sent or received via this other ISP, up to 12 weeks in arrears – even if you are within your monthly traffic allowance.
- If you are switching to TelstraClear from another Internet service provider, you should check with that provider to see if any early termination charges apply and to see if you need to return any equipment that is part of the Internet service they provide, such as a rented ADSL modem.
- Once you've had your first bill from us, you can upgrade your plan (there is no charge for upgrading your plan but there may be a charge for downgrading your plan).
- If you decide to stop taking direct dial tolls from TelstraClear (national, international and home to mobile calls), your monthly access charge will increase by $10 per month from what is shown here. Additionally, your home phone line rental will increase by $5 per month.
- TelstraClear HighSpeed Internet is not available to all customers or in all areas.
- If your plan includes charges for additional usage, it will be charged in blocks. You will be charged for each block even if it is not used in its entirety.

One-Off Charges Installation Charge - Connection only For new connections only. This option is required to enable the HighSpeed Internet service on the exchange. You will need to do any wiring to other telephone jacks and the modem installation by yourself. There will not be a service technician visit to your home. $99.00 one-off cost Installation Charge - Connection and Wiring For new connections only. A service technician will visit your house to perform any additional wiring services that may be required. Modem installation is not included. $248.00 one-off cost Cancellation Charge Charged only if you cancel this service prior to the end of your minimum term, (if any). $50.00 one-off cost Re-location Fee If you move to another address and you want to take your TelstraClear HighSpeed service with you, that will be a cancellation of your existing HighSpeed Internet service and an activation of a new service and TelstraClear's standard relocation fee may apply.
