What kind of ball machine is available?

Lobster offers two lines of ball machines - one is pneumatic and powered by electricity and the other is a battery operated wheel driven tennis ball machine.

Why Battery?

If you don't have access to electricity, the Lobster Elite tennis ball machine is a perfect choice. The Elite is the only battery ball machine that lives up to your expectations of durability. Why Pneumatic?

If you have access to a court with electricity, the choice is clear. You can play against a pneumatic Lobster ball machine as long as you like, unrestrained by battery capacity. Although battery ball machines can be taken to courts without access to electricity, the battery will lose power over the course of an afternoon. As the power from the battery diminishes, the shots will be slower and less precisely placed on the court. Pneumatic tennis ball machines, on the other hand, keep delivering the same shots repeatedly with no loss in consistency. Also, all of our pneumatic ball machines are significantly lighter than any battery ball machine on the market.
