IDS Technical Alert!  Subject - Servers Beeping:  Immediate Action to be taken -  Phone IDS Support at 1-800-962-7872 - DO NOT REBOOT THE SERVER

IDS servers have built-in warning systems to help assure our users of continued good service.  Several of these warning systems involve beeps which can sometimes  be loud and annoying .  If your server starts making unusual beeps please put up with the noise and call us immediately at 1-800-962-7872.  Turning off your server while it is beeping could result in data loss. A loud, steady beep may mean that your server has found a problem on a hard drive and is automaticaly rebuilding your database on a built-in spare hard drive.  Please do not reboot your server while it is beeping or the data rebuild will fail. 

Please, if you hear any kind of unusual beeping from your server  call IDS Tech Support Immediately at 1-800-962-7872.  We would rather fix your problems while they are small ones.
