 The Action Sports division of Gen-X Sports Inc. was established to concentrate on trend-driven sporting goods equipment. In 2000, the Actions Sports division was able to capitalize on the unbelievable scooter craze that took North America, and the world, by storm. In 2001, we shocked the world again with a Roller Shoe collection that pumped nearly 1 million pairs of "wheeled running shoes" into the sporting goods and mass merchant market place.
In 2002, we will continue to capitalize on the hottest trends, bringing them to market in a very short time frame, with minimal inventory risk and maximum profit potential for both Gen-X and our retail partners. At the same time, we will to build strong businesses in stable Action Sports categories that can consistently bring Gen-X anniversary-able sales.
Products currently available, and in development, under the Action Sports umbrella include: Skateboards (the backbone of Action Sports family), Inline Skates, Roller Shoes, Helmets, Helmets with an internal sound system (you can hear outside noise while listening to music), Protective Equipment, Toy Snowboards, Skateboard Footwear, Quad Roller Skates and Ramps. Our product offering is constantly being upgraded and updated with the latest ideas and coolest trends. The year 2002/03 could be our biggest year yet.
