 Tommy Armour introduces new product for 2002, which includes the 845 Stripe, re-designed 845s Oversize Plus irons and re-introduced the forged titanium Stripe Driver.
The new Stripe irons (1 - SW) promotes a shorter hosel, with a longer blade profile, feature a cavity back design through the set ensuring confidence at address. Available in steel or graphite and offered in men and women's left and right hand. "The Tommy Armour® Stripe irons have the look, feel and playability features that allow all golfers to improve their game and score", says John Gutelius, Director of Sales & Marketing.
The 845s Oversize Plus feature a shorter hosel with a longer blade than the previous design, available with progressive offset and proprietary shafts in either steel or graphite. These irons are perimeter weighted and offered in both men & women's left and right hand.
Conforming to USGA's specifications, the 845 Stripe Driver features an over sized clubhead (350 cc), with loft options of 8, 10 and 12 degrees. The 6-4 titanium body and a thin forged titanium face, offer more stability and control when striking the ball. The shaft is 45" and available in True Temper Bi Matrix or UST Pro Force 65.
