In all cases, it is best that you contact your manufacturer for technical assistance or updated drivers. ESS Technology produces integrated circuits* (chips) for manufacturers of personal computer and consumer electronics. The generic software drivers that we offer on this site are for personal computer implementations of our audio and communication chips. To obtain support related to our consumer chipsets, please contact us by clicking here (or by using the contact us button at the left of this page). It is always preferable to use the driver intended for your specific card. Please contact the manufacturer of your sound card or modem for their latest version. To download and install the generic software driver from this website, you must have the exact ESS Technology chip ID and be running Windows OS.
