| IP210CX Voice over IP phone Supporting IP Centrix Services Ease of Use The IP210CX has been designed specifically with IP Centrex service in mind. The IP210CX feature set fully supports all Basic (analog) Centrex features through its best-in-class user friendly man-machine interface (MMI). The IP210CX has one touch access to the incoming call log, outgoing call log, speed-dial list and user directory. In addition, the IP210CX has a one touch voice mail access (VMA) and Call Services capability. The one-touch VMA allows the user to dial the voice mail and navigate their voice mail box without having to remember the access codes or to wait for system voice prompts. VMA consists of pre-coded one touch keys for Play, Save, Delete, Forward, etc. The IP210CX’s Call Services Access (CSA) capabilities are also accessible through a one-touch function key. The Call Services keys allow the user to utilize standard calling features such as Call Waiting, Call Forwarding and Call Transfer without having to remember these feature codes. Studies have shown an increase in usability as well as an increase in feature usage due to the IP210CX user interface. Plug and Play The IP210CX is essentially a data network device. As such it is connected to your corporate LAN and can be remotely configured and updated by a system administrator using the internal Web Server setup capability. This means that the user’s directory, VMA and CSA features can all be preset by the system administrator so the users can “walk up and use” the phone without any additional setup required. Any future software upgrades can also be globally updated (locally or remotely) without requiring any end-user interaction. The Web Server setup capability allows for remote software updates to any single or group of IP210CX telephones. |
