Chris Smith, Vice President, Development Chris joined InSystems from Ironside Technologies where, as Vice President of Product Development, he played a key role in building a solid development organization, expanded the solution footprint, and leveraged customer-funded development. Prior to joining Ironside, Chris was Vice President of Product Development with FreeMarkets, Adexa and Marcam Solutions. Earlier in his career Chris held several increasingly responsible software development positions with IBM Canada where he gained valuable experience using IBM processes and ?best practices?. A graduate of the University of Toronto, he holds a BSc in Math and Physics and a MSc in Astrophysics. His extended professional development education includes the Executive Development Program at Cornell University, the IBM Advanced Leadership Program and Project Management certification from George Washington University. Prior to joining InSystems, Kim worked for Cantoc Business Systems. At Cantoc he held the position of Senior Account Manager, responsible for Cantoc's largest multi-billion dollar customers in the warehousing, distribution and logistics business. Prior to joining Cantoc in 1993, he was Manager, Business Customer Relationship Management Systems with the Royal Bank of Canada. He earned a B.Sc. in Computer Science from York University. Prior to joining InSystems, Mr. Amalfitano was Senior Vice President of Sales and Service with The Bulldog Group, a digital asset management company, where he was responsible for international sales and professional services. Prior to that appointment, he was Senior Vice President and General Manager for the Canadian operations of BAAN Company with responsibility for sales, sales support and services. During his tenure with GEAC SmartStream (formerly Dun & Bradstreet Software), he held a number of progressively responsible sales management positions in Canada and the United States. Immediately prior to joining InSystems, Neil spent eight years as a key member of the team building up Castek as a new insurance core business systems vendor, contributing in a variety of development and services leadership, product management and marketing roles. Neil?s over 15 years of experience in the information technology field also includes internal architecture and management positions, as well as consulting in application development practices.
