Global Community Investment Program

Submit your application to Agrium's corporate headquarters if your organization has a larger scope and your project or program will affect more than two communities where Agrium has operations.

Application deadlines: Applications must be received by November 15 each year. The committee's decision will be announced by December 31. Successful applicants will be notified and posted on our website at that time.

Local Community Investment Program

A disaster must be declared by government to qualify for emergency assistance. Requests for emergency assistance will be considered throughout the year to ensure timely delivery of funds.

Requests may be made directly by contacting the Manager, Public Relations at (403) 225-7000. In urgent situations, a written application may not be required.

Application Process

All applicants must submit a completed application form to be considered for Agrium funding. Information materials sent in place of this form will not be accepted.

1.	Each application is reviewed on its individual merit for clarity, completeness and need.
2.	Committee members consider all applications and make decisions based on merit and eligibility.
3.	The merit of each application is assessed against the following criteria: Reputation and management of charity. Alignment with and support of Agrium's areas of community focus.Impact on the community. Benefit to communities in which Agrium has operations. Allows for participation of Agrium representatives. Provides public relations opportunities for Agrium. Demonstrated effective management of funds by the charity.
4.	A limited number of awards are made in each area of focus.
5.	The total funds available to the committee will limit the number of approvals in a given year and the amount awarded to each applicant.
6.	Only successful candidates will be contacted.
