The Hyper-X boards combine exceptional speed in light to moderate wind with a liking for gusty, irregular wind. They plan almost instantly, have ultra fast acceleration and can easily sail through wind lulls. Quite thin but also quite wide and short, the Hyper X is only marginally more technically orientated than a standard freeride board. The reduced volume and length give the board more response and improved control, even when the wind strengthens. The relatively thin rear rail combined with a tight rocker line means fast, easy jibing. The front bevels guarantee safety at top speed (no unexpected nose catches).
The fittings are top quality: comfortable foot straps, double thickness foot pads, high performance slalom fin, Carbon Epoxy Sandwich construction giving a light weight, strong, stiff board.
