A new Newell Rubbermaid culture has taken shape within our organization because of the values, dedication and passion our employees bring with them every day. It's a culture of customer focus, marketing prowess and new product innovation. And it's a culture that produces results for our shareholders, our retail partners and our consumers.
By instilling this culture, we've energized ourselves and our relationships with our retail partners. In the past year, we've introduced hundreds of new products - more than the company ever has in its history. We've become more flexible and creative in order to perfectly serve our most important key accounts. We're proactive innovators, developing, selling and quickly implementing new products and programs at retail. Then, using our force of Phoenix in-store representatives, we follow through with high-impact marketing activities and store-level service.
Our ongoing effort is to make certain every corner of our company is steeped in this new culture. We know it will take time. But it is critical that it become part of all of us at Newell Rubbermaid. When it does, the practices will come naturally in everything we do. Product development and marketing creativity will have an unlimited source. Leadership and strategic focus will come from within the body of the organization, not just from on top.
