Extech Instruments Corporation, manufacturer and supplier of instrumentation and portable printers, currently has an immediate opening for an experienced Graphic Designer/DTP. This person must be well-organized and detail-oriented with project experience to maintain our web site; perform catalog layouts; create brochures, data sheets, trade show material, product packaging, etc... Must be self-motivated & perform under tight deadlines. For catalog production, must know popular graphics packages such as Quark Xpress, InDesign, Photoshop & Illustrator. For Web design, person must have 2-3 years experience with ASP, HTML and Javascript. Main responsibilities will be to maintain and update web site. Will work closely with sales and technical staff for content updates. Web server administration and project management are a must. Should also have experience with creating dynamic data driven sites using ASP on a Windows 2000 server. Macromedia Flash and HTML email experience would also be nice. Job Location: Waltham, MA Extech Instruments Corporation, a growing manufacturer and supplier of digital multimeters, portable industrial test & measurement instrumentation and portable printers, has a new opening for an experienced Customer Service Representative in our corporate Return and Repair center. This person must be detail-oriented with excellent phone and computer skills to respond to customer phone calls, faxes and emails for product information, return authorization requests and spare parts requests. You will also be receiving packages and completing paperwork for returned products for calibration, repair services and other issues. You will be required to follow up on in-house activities and respond to customer requests in a timely manner. Must be able to multi-task in a fast-paced office environment.
Fluent English and pleasant phone skills are a must.
Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Experience with Windows 98/2000 and Microsoft Office preferred.
Must have a positive attitude and a strong work ethic.
Experience with hand-held electrical, electronic instruments or an electronic background is a plus.

Responsibilities will include: - Setting up, developing and maintaining successful sales programs with distributor accounts in Europe and Latin America
- Identifying new sales opportunities
- Coordinate promotions, advertising, trade shows, new product introductions, & literature
- Training overseas distributors on Extech test and measurement instruments
- Potential overseas travel
Requirements: - Experience selling portable multimeters, environmental meters & other electrical and electronic test equipment in Europe and Latin America
- Experience in setting up and supporting distributors of multimeters and electronic/electrical test equipment in Europe and Latin America
- Oral and written communication in at least two languages
- Candidates must be organized and efficient to move through customer and prospect information
- Candidates experienced and willing to travel internationally (25-50% of the time)
- Candidates must be proactive and able to thrive in A fast-paced environment
Other Requirements:
3-5 years experience in a similar situation
