Description

Pulmo-Guard MpB contains antigens from two field isolates of Mycoplasma bovis and their soluble antigens.

Features

Dosage & Administration

Using aseptic technique inject 2 mL Sub-Q in the front of the shoulder and midway of the neck away from the suprascapular lymph node. Repeat in 14 to 28 days. Revaccinate as recommended by your veterinarian.

Precautions

Store between 35-45° F ( 2-7° C).

Do not freeze. Use entire contents when first opened. Shake well.

Do not vaccinate within 60 days before slaughter. Anaphylactoid reactions can occur.

Antidote: Epinephrine.

Uses

Pulmo-Guard MpB is recommended for vaccination of healthy susceptible cattle 45 days of age or older as an aid in prevention of respiratory disease caused by Mycoplasma bovis.

Warning

Hypersensitivity reactions, including delayed hypersensitivity or death, may occur with a biological product and can cause reduced milk production in lactating dairy cattle. Persistent swelling and/or a large area of edema may occur at the injection site in a significant number of vaccinated animals.
