Founded in 1982, Animax is a British company specialising in the research, development, manufacture and marketing of original veterinary and nutritional products. From its outset, the company has been committed to improving the health and welfare of animals, and the profitability of farmers.

Initially, Animax was primarily focused upon treating and preventing trace element deficiencies in livestock.  This has led to the company occupying a leading position in the field of slow-release intra-ruminal systems for trace element supply in ruminants.

While these products still represent a core part of our business, Animax now operates across a broad range of Animal Health areas, with our key focus areas being internal and external parasitology, and an in-depth involvement in lipid technology.
