Police Chief are set.
Ken Horn, the 30-year-old chief of only a few weeks, died
suddenly at his Baxter Springs home last Friday.
Horn, previously worked for the Cherokee County Sheriff's
Department and Baxter Springs Police Department.
He was also a volunteer fire fighter for Baxter Springs.
Visitation is scheduled to begin at 5 p.m. Tuesday at
Simpson Funeral Home in Columbus.
The Funeral will be held at the Joplin Family Worship
Center at 2 p.m. on Wednesday.
Officials say Horn died of an apparent heart attack.
An official autopsy report is pending.
