 |  | Beginning November 15, 2005, all people with Medicare-those 65 years of age or older, those with certain disabilities, and those with end-stage renal disease-can enroll in a new Medicare prescription drug benefit. The new program provides insurance coverage for prescription medicines for the first time since Medicare was introduced 40 years ago.
Our Company is committed to collaborating with partners to help people with Medicare learn about this new insurance. From our patients and customers, to our employees and retirees, it is important that Medicare enrollees themselves and anyone who knows an enrollee understand and prepare for the new benefit.

The U.S. pharmaceutical and biotechnology companies of the Johnson & Johnson Family of Companies are participating in the Partnership for Prescription Assistance, the largest-ever private-sector program to help patients who lack coverage for prescription medications. They join a national coalition of pharmaceutical companies, doctors, nurses, other health care providers, pharmacists, patient advocates, and community leaders.
The Partnership for Prescription Assistance (PPA) offers a single point of access to more than 275 public and private patient assistance programs, including more than 150 programs offered by pharmaceutical companies. Learn more.
