GE's H System is one of the world's most advanced gas turbine combined cycle systems and the first capable of breaking the 60 percent efficiency barrier. It integrates the gas turbine, steam turbine and heat recovery steam generator into a seamless system.

Using an innovative closed-loop steam cooling system, the H System allows the turbine to fire at a higher temperature to enable 60 percent fuel efficiency capability. The high efficiency of the H System means less fuel is consumed and fewer - emissions are produced per megawatt of electricity generated.

GE has long been a leading innovator in gas turbine and combined cycle power generation technology. The H System is the platform for continued efficiency advancement in gas turbine combined cycle technology.
