Combined safety efforts have led to Transportation's facilities to receive OSHA Voluntary Protection Program (VPP) Certification. By achieving certification, Transportation marks an employee safety and health milestone and becomes one of the top ten largest worksites in the country to achieve OSHA VPP Star status. The Headquarters plant in Erie is the largest manufacturing site in Pennsylvania to achieve VPP certification. Internationally, our sites have achieved equivalent safety designations. Our facilities in Monterrey, Saltillo and San Luis Potosi, Mexico, received "Autogestion." Safety certification, and the Contagem site in South America earned the GE Global Star certification.

We demonstrate our commitment to safe working conditions by establishing safe work methods and practices at all times.
