The Siemens Automation and Drives Group (A&D) has signed a contract to acquire ETM professional control GmbH of Eisenstadt, Austria. ETM with 86 employees is a specialist in the field of process visualization for infrastructure projects. The systems of the enterprise are in use for control of processes at infrastructure projects, e.g. to the areas of motorways, traffic tunnels, wastewater, district heating and pipelines. Both parties have agreed not to disclose the purchase price. The transaction is subject to approval by the relevant authorities.
