 | | | Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Activity |  | | Society?fs assessment of companies is becoming very strict these days, when companies?f work fronts are expanding and their influence on society is growing.
The role that companies are asked to play in society is becoming increasingly extensive, including matters of sociality, such as issues regarding human rights, labor, and even the global environment. This indicates that a company?fs social responsibility is becoming more and more important to the public.
In this state, companies are asked to actively contribute to society and create social values in order to achieve the synergistic development of society and of companies themselves.
IT Frontier has been promoting CSR activities, including the establishment of conduct guideline for staffs that serve as standards for corporate ethics, education and training for staff (such as lectures given by lawyers and e-learning), appointment of board members in charge of corporate ethics and compliance, and establishment and operation of committees.
In the future, we will also plan and operate CSR activities in which each of our employees can voluntarily participate as a part of their daily lives. |  | Our basic stance on the employment of disabled people | | | We understand the significance of disabled people?fs social participation, and actively carry out our social responsibility in employing disabled people. | | Our colleague, Yuichi Takahashi, won a gold medal in Athens! | | | Yuichi Takahashi, an employee at IT Frontier, competed in the men?fs marathon (vision impaired, Class B1) at the Athens Paralympic Games.
