Nearly a year after its launch, CanalPlay, the video download site from Canal+ Group, is introducing a new version of its Web site, featuring a redesigned format and ergonomics, new group functions and more. To mark the occasion, CanalPlay is also unveiling an innovative offer: permanent downloads for burning onto DVD. The concept is simple: after downloading the video of their choice (from among the more than 2000 videos available on CanalPlay, including nearly 1300 films), users can save the video permanently on their PC, view it as many times as they like and even, for the first time in Europe, burn a single, secure copy of the video onto a DVD that can be read on any home DVD player. Permanent downloading is available for films in the CanalPlay catalog at a starting price of ?9.99. www.canalplay.com www.canalplusgroupe.com | | | | | | | | | SFR
