| Even your hair may not always look its best in winter. Like our bodies, our hair lacks energy and often becomes limp. On top of that, the cold air makes it drier and more brittle.
While we obviously protect our skin and often give it an extra layer of moisturiser, with hair, it’s usually hats on and ready to go. That’s a great idea in itself to keep warm because, after all, more than 90 percent of the body’s warmth is lost through the head.
So that your hair doesn’t suffer as a result of this cold protection program, which often lasts months, we recommend that you give your hair an intensive and targeted hair care treatment by following these easy instructions.

| We can protect our skin from the cold with a layer of moisturising cream, but how can we protect our hair?
Coloured hair is already very stressed and requires intensive moisture, especially in winter. For brown-coloured hair or naturally brown hair, there is now the Brilliant Brown series from NIVEA Hair Care. Don’t use too much shampoo and be sure to rinse it out well with lukewarm water. Don’t blow dry at excessively hot temperatures; if possible, let your hair dry naturally.
