Getting to school safely
Statistics show that 44%* of pedestrian accidents involving children happen on the way to or from school. Most of these accidents happen because children don't always know how to behave on and near the road. This is why children must realise that the road can be a dangerous place, and learn how to respond in a difficult situation. Children have no end of good ideas and this has been the principle behind the "Safety for all" international competition ever since it was launched. Now in its seventh year, the competition invites primary-school children to think about and create a poster on the theme Getting to school safely.
Different prizes will be awarded and the winning class in each country will be invited to the international final, hosted by Renault in June 2007!
