Return Material Authorisation (RMA) - is the procedure that allows the return of a faulty processor to AMD, requesting a replacement.

The following processors you CANNOT claim a direct warranty for from AMD: |
 |  | Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) Tray part |
An OEM tray part is a non-boxed product which is sold as a single unit without any installation instructions or additional end customer material (e.g. heatsink/fan, case sticker, thermal pad) provided by AMD.
Contact your reseller in order to claim warranty for this part.
All OEM tray parts will need to be returned to AMD through the distribution channel as AMD will only accept OEM tray parts returned from the initial direct purchaser.

| Registration options for End-consumers and Resellers |
- End-consumers will be asked for: personal details, replacement shipping address, email address.
- Resellers will be asked for: the above, plus: VAT, volume and type of sales, distributors, website address, services provided.
NB: a Reseller can register as an End-consumer, if they do not claim more than 2 RMAs a month; they are always able to upgrade this account in future. |
