Mac firmware and driver updates (Mac driver 1.5d0; firmware version 2.0) for the MultiMix FireWire mixers (5.0 MB).

PowerPC and Intel Mac compatible.

Updated by Alesis 12/2006

Notes:
1. This update allows computers to be able to access both MultiMix FireWire devices and the new Alesis IO|14 and IO|26 firewire audio interfaces.

2. A new Windows driver provides enhanced peformance and stability, along with new control panel options to manage clock rates and WDM audio options.

3. If you are using drivers from an Alesis-supplied CD, you should download and apply these updates.

4. Mac users: If you are using drivers issued before December 2005, you will need to uninstall these drivers using a third-party Mac utility.
Alesis recommends the free program DesInstaller, which can be downloaded from http://www.versiontracker.com/dyn/moreinfo/macosx/13955.

If using Desinstaller, click on the blue magnifying glass icon on the left.
Find the listing "Mac OS X MultiMix 1.1d9.pkg," click it, and delete it using the icon with the big red X in it, fourth from the left.

5. Mac users must use Safari or Firefox to download these updates. Do not use Internet Explorer.
