We are looking for a hard working, energetic and versatile person to work within our sales planning department. Essential Functions- Job Duties: The following duties are considered essential to the job. Qualified individuals must have the ability - with or without reasonable accommodation - to perform the following duties but not limited to:

  1. Audits deductions taken by clients and verifies the validity of these deductions by checking against the promotional contracts.
  2. Meet the monthly quota for clearing deductions set by the supervisor.
  3. Clear deductions in Vista by checking if the Broker has entered them against the correct Account, Pack Group, and Promotion.
  4. Clear deductions in Vista by checking if there is enough accrual money.
  5. If there are deficient funds to clear the deductions, need to research the reason(s) for the insufficient funds and also report this information to the supervisor immediately.
  6. Clear all deductions following the Vista Deduction Reports.
  7. Interacts with Regional Sales Managers, Brokers, and Clients to clear the deductions.
  8. Request backup and mail copies of invoices to Brokers as needed.
  9. Send Repay Letters for invalid deductions to Brokers and/or Clients, as well as, following up on the Repay Letters as needed.
  10. Maintain the backup, deduction claim form, and repay drawers, filed by Market by Region.
  11. Attend Reconciliation meetings to review the Open Deductions and any issues concerning the deductions.
Secondary Function - Job Duties: The following duties are considered secondary to the essential functions listed above. These duties may be delegated to peers or subordinates, however, Reconciliation Supervisor I will be ultimately responsible for their completion.

  1. Maintain an orderly filing system.
  2. Answer telephones, and take messages.
  3. Other tasks may be assigned as required.
Supervisory Responsibilities: This job has no supervisory responsibilities.

Education and/or Experience: Associate's degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or six months to one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Language Skills: Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.

Mathematical Skills: Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.

Reasoning Ability: Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.

Computer Skills: To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Internet software; Excel Spreadsheet software and Word Processing software.
