In recognition of our efforts to reduce packaging, increase recycling rates and save energy, Santa Cruz Organic has received the WRAP Award (Waste Reduction Awards Program) for the past five years. This award, from the California Integrated Waste Management Board, shows our ongoing dedication to sustainability.
And most recently, we have made the transition to use 100% renewable energy to run the production process for our processing and bottling facilities. Cultivating a Strong Foundation Santa Cruz Organic's roots stretch back to the early 1970s, when founder, John Battendieri, began revitalizing abandoned orchards in the Santa Cruz mountains, an area known for its high-quality, flavorful fruit.
