The flagship product of this family is the MoBL-USB FX2LP18 which will leverage the success of the EZ-USB FX2LP, the world's best selling USB microcontroller. The MoBL-USB FX2LP18 is perfect for mobile applications that demand ultra low power and high performance in an incredibly small package.
The MoBL-USB TX2 is the world's smallest USB 2.0 UTMI transceiver, packaged in a 5 x 5 mm VFBGA. It has the lowest standby (suspend) current in the industry, which is critical for battery powered handheld applications (USB is in suspend mode when the handheld is being powered from the battery). The MoBL-USB TX2 is the only USB 2.0 UTMI transceiver approved for use on the Intel Monahans PDK (code-named Zylonite), and interfaces directly to the UTMI interface on Intel's 3rd generation XScale(R) architecture applications processors Monahans -P and -L.
