Created in 1996 through the merger of Ciba-Geigy and Sandoz, Novartis is currently organized into four divisions. For more information, please click on the Our Businesses link.

We are always strengthening our medicine-based portfolio, and investing in strategic growth platforms. And Novartis is the only company with leadership positions in both patented and generic pharmaceuticals. Our Leadership & Governance section has more information.
