This applies not only to product offering but also to service and operations that are safe, environmentally responsible and in conformance with all laws and regulations administered in those countries in which we operate. As you are aware, one such regulation, MARPOL 73/78 Annex VI - Regulations for the Prevention of Air Pollution from Ships and NOx Technical Code - has been under review for some time. The new legislation has now been ratified by 22 nations and will be in effect May 19. As to those nations that have not ratified MARPOL Annex VI, FAMM considers Annex VI to serve as guidelines. In any event, whether or not a nation has ratified MARPOL Annex VI, the provisions of Annex VI and its implementing regulations are in addition to, and not a substitute for, terms required by contract. As we move to comply with MARPOL Annex VI, and as aspects of this new regulation take effect, we will continue to communicate promptly with you. Revised Bunker Delivery Notes will be distributed as required under Appendix V of MARPOL Annex VI. In addition, vessels receiving FAMM's fuel will continue to be provided with a representative sample, whether such sample is taken at the ship or barge flange.
