Known by millions as a regular contributor to GOLF MAGAZINE and GOLFONLINE, as well as a broadcaster for CBS Sports, David Feherty is the game's ultimate wise guy, due to his sharp wit and unique brand of humor. Born in the seaside town of Bangor in Northern Ireland, Feherty turned professional in 1976, then went on to become a five-time champion on the European Tour. Feherty was also a member of the 1991 European Ryder Cup Team and finished fourth in the 1994 British Open. Feherty retired from both the European Tour and the PGA TOUR in 1997, when he joined the staff of GOLF MAGAZINE and was hired by CBS Sports as a golf commentator.
Today, Feherty pens a monthly "Sidespin" column for GOLF MAGAZINE and answers reader's questions for GOLFONLINE's Mailbag column. He has also written several books.
