I have a crack in my frame, what do I do to find out if it is covered under warranty?
The first step is to take your bike to your local dealer to be evaluated. They can then determine if it is a warranty issue or not. Many cracks in frames, especially carbon frames, are non-structural paint cracks. If it is a structural crack, they can start the process to have the frame returned to us to be repaired or replaced. If it is not warranty, they can let you know what options you have.
If you have crashed your LeMond carbon bike please see our Safety First Carbon Fiber Crash Replacement and Care Informationand do not ride the bike! Again, take the bike to a LeMond dealer for inspection.

Does LeMond sponsor athletes?
For the most part, LeMond sponsors teams but not individual athletes. Our amateur team sponsorship relationships are developed through local LeMond dealers. Requests for sponsorship should be made to your local LeMond dealer first. It is then the dealer's option to forward any team proposal to their Territory Manager. Proposals sent directly to the LeMond offices without a connection to a LeMond dealer will not be considered.
What should I do to maintain the appearance of my LeMond?
LeMond recommends using Wrench Force Detailing Spray when cleaning (86524 at local LeMond dealer). Spray on a rag as opposed to spraying directly on the bike. Wipe the frame down with a clean rag after rides to remove sweat and road grime. Use Touch-up paint or clear fingernail polish to cover any nicks and scratches immediately. If using the bike on a wind trainer, protect the top tube from sweat. Treat the inside of the frame with Wrench Force Rust Prevent (86521 at local LeMond dealer). If you ride in the rain it is best to take the seat post out after riding and let the bike hang upside down overnight. Each LeMond is equipped with drain holes to help moisture escape, but this technique is still recommended.
