We have a seven year old greyhound who was always indifferent towards toys, until we got the Rooster. Whereas it was almost impossible to get her to play with any other toy, she attacks the Rooster daily. We just got a Rat Terrier, and he's taken quite a liking to the Rooster as well. He carried it around with him for four hours last night, and it's almost as big as he is!

We have a 5 1/2 year old male Border Collie, who has many fine doggie toys. He is so smart...that when I tell him to go and get his "chicken", he selects it from the group of toys. HE LOVES HIS CHICKEN. The toy is a great investment...in fun for him and of course, fun for me too. I constantly try and "steal" his chicken..He will have nothing to do with that game...Eddie loves Mr. Chicken and grooms him daily.

My 3 year old Labrador Retriever picked this toy out himself on a recent trip to our local Orvis (their staff got such a laugh out of seeing him rummage through their shelves of stuffed animals!) On most nights before bed, he can be seen mouthing/squeaking his beloved chicken. It has proven to be pretty durable in the face of some rough play (a little tug-o-war here and there).
