The activities of the corporation are currently directed by an 11-member board, 10 of whom are elected by the membership. The President/CEO is a member of the board by virtue of the position. Using a Dividend Notice

Redeeming Your Dividend Notice Online
During the checkout process, you will be given the option of using your REI member refund (which includes the REI Visa card rebate if you have one) to pay for your purchase in Step #3. To do so, simply check the box to use your dividend.

The name in the billing field on your order must be exactly the same as the name on your membership account. Your purchase amount will be subtracted from your dividend notice amount. If there is a dividend balance remaining, it will be available for future redemption. If your purchase is larger than your dividend notice total, you will be required to enter a credit card number to cover the remaining balance.

Using Your Dividend Notice Offline
Redeem your dividend notice in any REI store, or for purchases made by phone, fax or mail.

Please Note—Your REI member refund expires December 31st of the year after the year in which it was issued. Any remaining REI Visa card rebates will be sent to you soon after December 31st of the year after the year they first appeared on your dividend notice. No REI Visa card rebate refunds will be issued for less than $1.00.

Requesting a Dividend Check

Your dividend notice is good for merchandise immediately upon receipt, or you may request a check for your dividend at any time prior to the expiration date stated on your notice. REI issues checks weekly, from July 1 through December 31, yearly. Click here to request your dividend check.
