Solstice's twin-cam four-valve-per-cylinder 2.4L ECOTEC produces 177hp and 166lb-ft of torque. Variable valve timing shapes both output curves to enhance the entire performance spectrum. The GXP's 2.0L Turbo ECOTEC DOHC spools out 260hp and 260lb-ft of torque. By combining both turbo boost with direct fuel injection the GXP goes zero-to-60 in less than 5.5 seconds - quicker than a Porsche Boxster.
