Because the game no longer had postseason implications for the Eagles, they pulled many of their high-profile starters - including quarterback Jeff Garcia and running back Brian Westbrook - with 8:05 remaining in the first quarter. Garcia was replaced by backup A.J. Feeley. PK Morten Andersen kicked his longest field goal of the season, a 45-yarder that tied the game at 10-10 in the second quarter. The Falcons attempted and recovered an onside kick to start the second half. It was the second onside kick recovered by the Falcons this season. They also recovered an onside kick versus the Steelers. LB Ed Hartwell registered his first forced fumble of the season early in the second quarter. The ball was recovered by CB DeAngelo Hall.  | INJURY UPDATE QB Michael Vick suffered a right ankle sprain on the first play from scrimmage in the second half when he was sacked by Eagles DE Jaqua Thomas while rolling to his left.. Vick lay on the turf for several minutes, then walked off the field under his own power and went to the locker room for further observation. He did not return to the game. Vick was replaced in the game by backup Matt Schaub. Eagles RB Correll Buckhalter suffered a left knee strain late in the first quarter and did not return to the game. Third string RB Ryan Moats got most of the carries for the Eagles after Buckhalter's departure. Falcons RT Todd Weiner left the game with 10 minutes remaining in the second quarter with a knee injury. This will be Falcons Coach Jim Mora's third regular season game (1-1 vs. the Eagles) against Philadelphia while Eagles Coach Andy Reid will face Atlanta for the sixth time (4-1 vs. the Falcons). In the last meeting between the teams on Sept. 12, 2005 in the Georgia Dome, Falcons RB Warrick Dunn rushed 21 times for 117 yards and QB Michael Vick ran for a score in a 14-10 Atlanta victory in the season opener against the defending NFC Champions. In the last regular season game at Veterans Stadium on Oct. 1, 2000, the Eagles beat the Falcons, 38-10. In that game, Eagles KR Brian Mitchell returned a kickoff 89 yards for a TD and added an 85-yard run for another score. The Falcons are first team in NFL history with a RB-QB tandem with 1,000 yards each -- RB Warrick Dunn (1,082) and QB Michael Vick (1,022). Vick became the first NFL QB to go over 1,000 rushing yards in a season last Sunday vs. Carolina.  Vick rushed for 68 yards and one TD in the last game vs. the Eagles while Dunn had 117 yards. RB Justin Griffith has three TDs (two receiving and one rushing) in his last two games. TE Alge Crumpler was named to his fourth consecutive Pro Bowl and has six TDs in his last 10 games. WR Michael Jenkins has a TD catch in six of his last 10 games. CB DeAngelo Hall's 308 interception return yards (10 INTs, 30.8 avg) since 2005 is the most in the NFL during that stretch. He had an interception and 38 return yards in the last game vs. the Eagles. Eagles QB Jeff Garcia is 4-1 with nine TDs and two INTs for a 106.0 passer rating in his five starts in place of injured Donovan McNabb.
