AlbinoChondro.com is the web presence of Damon Salceies Captive Bred Snakes. The name was adopted to convey the primary focus of our current breeding programs. We work with a variety of Green Tree Python morphs, the most famous of which is the world's first albino. We still maintain a small collection of select Colubrid snakes, but our collection has been streamlined in order to concentrate on the exciting possibilities presented by the world's first albino chondro. ALBINO CHONDRO UPDATE - Summer 2006

Breeding season's upon us! All of the animals slated for this years' breeding endeavors are being cycled now. The Albino has already fathered a clutch that's due to hatch on the 1st of October 2006. It was a repeat of his last pairing with PNG. It looks as though more maroon hets are on the way! The PNG female was a maroon neonate, and if the clutch is successful, it will produce another generation of heterozygous animals that have a good chance at being the first to produce a red or maroon albino neonate!

Breeding Update: PNG is maternally incubating her clutch right now!

NEWS: Some of the '05 hatchlings have started their color shifts and there are some neat things emerging. Stay tuned for updated photos!

 COMING SOON! GREEN TREE PYTHON EGG VIDEO - After one of our recent clutches was laid, we filmed a short video that demonstrates techniques for removing a female from her eggs, candling eggs, and separating adhered eggs. The video's EXTREMELY primitive, but seemed useful enough that it might be worth posting here. Hopefully it will provide help to someone just starting out with tree python breeding. WAMENA UPDATE - The Wamena animals have all completed their color changes and the variety's something we're very pleased with. The animals were exceptional as hatchlings and that magnificence definitely carried over into adulthood!
