Three couples who all live next door to each other are all celebrating their Golden Wedding anniversaries on the same day.
The staggering hat-trick coincidence has stunned the trio - who live side by side in Rainham, Essex.
Barry Tristan, 70, and his wife Sheila, 69, have lived in the same street for 40 years since they were married at St Luke's Church in Canning Town, East London, on March 16, 1957.
Mrs Tristan, a grandmother-of-three, said:
"This must be a million to one - it's absolutely unbelievable.
"We've all been great friends over the years and never had a bad word between us.
"We've been sending each other anniversary cards for over 20 years - but it was only recently we realised we all got married in the same year too!"
Neighbours Roy and Gladys Rogers, both 72, have been together since their eyes first met at school at the tender age of 13.
Roy, a former engineer with two sons and four grandsons, said:
"We were talking over the garden fence when we first found out.
"It's absolutely amazing, though, it just doesn't happen."
Gladys, a former seamstress, made her own and her bridesmaids' dresses at her wedding in East Ham back in 1957.
She'll be celebrating the landmark 50 years together on a sunshine holiday with Roy in the Canary Islands for a week.
Chris and Jean Dove make up the amazing trio.
A self-confessed scrooge when it comes to romance, Jean, 70, joked about her anniversary saying she would be getting an early night to celebrate - but quipped it would not be with her hubby, 76, but her beloved pet cats.
Jean said:
"It's amazingly uncanny.
"When we were all a bit younger and first moved in we somehow found out our anniversaries were on the same day and it was quite funny then.
"But it's only recently that we realised we would all be celebrating 50 years together too."
Beverley Neal, 43, Barry and Sheila's only daughter, who also lives in the same road, said:
"I've known for a while but it was when I started telling friends and colleagues that I realised from their reactions just how spooky it is.
"I wish them all the best, though, because they're all lovely and it's such a special landmark."
Here's what readers have had to say so far. Why not add your thoughts below?
Congratulations to you all! It takes you old'ns to show the youngsters how to do it.

I bet some toad will say: They were related in another life!
- Sabina Newson, Dorking, Surrey England
Best wishes to them all. I hope they have many more happy years together. They could teach the young ones of today a thing or two on relationships. In this day and age it's all too easy to just walk away when the going gets tough!
- Vicky, Wiltshire
