Britney's looking better... but the hand art's a bit weird

Troubled Britney Spears made her first supervised outing from Promises rehab in Malibu yesterday, looking fresh-faced with a brown wig and flat cap.

Whether it was a seperate wig and cap - or a posh version of one of those "See You Jimmy" hats popular with Scottish rugby fans is unclear.

At any rate, she looked happy enough, although there were obvious signs that she's not quite better yet.

She had pen drawings scribbled all over her left hand, and she's still wearing her wedding ring.

The flower drawings are rather strange... but at least she's happy.

I hope that she gets back together with Kevin I think that they really do love one another very much and she would be happier if he was by her side.

Ms Spears has plenty of PR advisers. Do you honestly believe any of this would have happened without their knowledge/direction? Funny how non-celebs don't check into rehab for a few hours then go party! If you take the red-top tabloid dollar then you need to think about the consequences. Nobody wants to see a young girl have such problems but would there be the same sympathy for a single parent on a council estate? Of course not.
